The 8th International Disability Law Summer School takes place next week 20th-24th June in Galway with the theme "Bringing Rights Home: Civil Society Impacting Change".

It's bigger than ever this year and we will welcome 150 participants from over 40 countries and a stellar cast of over 30 experts as faculty. And we're inviting you, wherever you may be, to join the proceedings.

On Monday 20th June from 9.30am Irish Standard Time join the live stream (video and audio) of the morning's proceedings include the kick-off session Looking Back: A Key Moment in World History - The Drafting of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which will feature retired US Senator Tom Harkin, a co-father of the ADA, John Wodatch, the Former Director of the Disability Section of the Civil Rights Division in the US Department of Justice, and Judith E. Heumann, Special Advisor for International Disability Rights in the US Department of State.
