Education for All: An Evening with AUCD

March 2, 2016, 6:00 p.m., The Carnegie Library
Education for All: An Evening with AUCD will be the first of what will be an annual celebration honoring the AUCD network's accomplishments and, more importantly, the millions of people with disabilities who benefit from them. On March 2nd, we will shine the spotlight on our impact promoting inclusive disability policies and improving education outcomes for children and youth with disabilities.

Free for participants of the UCEDD Directors Retreat. Shuttle service available to transport you to and from the event.

Enriching Cultural Efforts:
What's in Your Toolbox?

Friday, March 4, 2016, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm ET

The 2016 UCEDD TA Institute will focus on engaging UCEDD leaders in facilitated dialogue to identify strategies for attaining goals related to diversity, inclusion, and cultural and linguistic competence. Participants will learn how best to utilize the AUCD Diversity & Inclusion Toolkit (http://www.implementdiversity.tools/) as a resource for realizing these goals. The themes and objectives of the Toolkit were used to organize the agenda and will be used to guide the facilitated breakout sessions. An overview of the Toolkit will be provided to all meeting participants in a general session at the beginning of the TA Institute. The facilitated breakout sessions intend to dive deeper into each of the Toolkit's 14 objectives through safe dialogue.
