More than two dozen interdisciplinary speakers including self-advocates, legislators, academics, service providers, and industry leaders will present on innovative technologies affecting services and support trends for people with cognitive disabilities. Nationally renowned author and Chairman of Special Olympics, Timothy Shriver will serve as the keynote speaker. Activities surrounding The Rights of People with Cognitive Disabilities to Technology and Information Access, a statement of principles now endorsed by over 250 leading disability organizations, will be presented and attendees will have an opportunity to join a national movement that works to ensure full inclusion of people with cognitive disabilities in our technology driven world.
