Children's Interagency Training Conference

Tuesday, April 24, 2007- Friday, April 27, 2007
Location: State College, PA

"How Does Your Garden Grow: Cultivating Cross-System, Family-Driven, and Youth-Guided Partnership"

The Nineteenth Children's Interagency Training Conference will be held April 24-27, 2007 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College, PA.

The conference is sponsored by the PA CASSP Training and Technical Assistance Institute.

The program features many presenters with national and state expertise, and is the result of a significant cross-systems effort to provide concentrated attention in several specific content areas. Participants can choose from among more than 100 different workshop topics throughout the conference, including a special emphasis on transition. Among the other areas of concentration are school-based behavioral health, transition, trauma, the mental health needs of children and adolescents in the juvenile justice and/or child welfare systems, and evidence-based practice.

In addition, there are more than 30 presentations for the first-ever poster session and reception where conference participants will be able to obtain information and speak individually with presenters regarding innovative programs and recent research on children's mental health topics.
