NICHD Summer Institute in Applied Research in Child and Adolescent Development

This summer program seeks to: 1) Help investigators develop advanced skills in using theory and appropriate methodology to develop practices, interventions, or materials that improve the lives of children; 2) To support investigators who are beginning careers as applied researchers by providing training that will build upon their existing content knowledge and research skills; and 3) Provide mentoring and guidance on topics including alternative funding support, dissemination of findings, and policy-relevant research.
