New Update

The National Center for Victims of Crime invites you to attend our second Afternoon on Capitol Hill immediately after our National Conference. By joining us, you can inform your elected officials and their staff about your organization's work and priorities. You can also introduce yourself as a resource to them, someone they can call when they have questions about issues affecting victims of crime.

Our Afternoon on Capitol Hill will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, with a short briefing on current crime victim issues facing Congress, including the future of the VOCA Fund, VAWA funding, improving the collection of restitution, and other topics. We'll answer your questions about the meetings that you or the National Center has arranged for you, and then we'll leave for Capitol Hill, just a short walk from the conference hotel. We expect that most meetings will end before 5:00 p.m. that day.

Members of Congress and their staff need to hear from you! Don't miss this chance to make your voice heard in the nation's capital.

To register for our Afternoon on Capitol Hill, please complete and return the attached registration form. The form can also be found on the Policy page of our website. Indicate when you can meet and whether you would like to arrange your own meetings, have us schedule your appointments for you, or visit members of Congress as part of a group. When we receive your completed form, we will set up requested appointments and let you know your meeting schedule. It's that easy!

If you have any questions, please email Ilse Knecht.
