Webinar Description:
Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge. These graphics present complex information quickly and clearly, such as in signs, maps, journalism, technical writing, and education. Infographics can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system's ability to see patterns and trends. This presentation will provide general information, along with tips on how to create and use infographics.
Speaker:
Crystal K. Pariseau, MSSW - AUCD
Crystal is responsible for working across the network and our partner programs to develop products, web content, and electronic and print publications for AUCD. She has designed and published multiple brochures and newsletters for AUCD and several of its partners, conference and event materials, and the majority of AUCD's resources and publications, including two new infographics. You can see much of this work at AUCD.org/resources. Crystal is the content maven for AUCD's websites, and directs much of our print and social media presence. In addition to design, publication, and marketing efforts, Crystal also directs the programmatic development of many of AUCD's events including the AUCD Conference and works closely with AUCD's member programs on strengthening the network of LEND and UCEDD trainees each year. Crystal was formerly a Social Work trainee at the Waisman Center LEND and UCEDD, and has been with AUCD for nearly 9 years. She has an avid interest in photography, and her two young sons and husband, as well as much of the AUCD network, rarely see her without a camera in hand.
