This webinar reviewed evidence-based practices for developing and sustaining culturally appropriate partnerships with underrepresented communities. Dr. Suarez-Balcazar reviewed and discussed a framework for developing partnerships and 10 principles that are typical of successful partnership endeavors. These principles were illustrated with examples on how to reach out to underserved communities, agencies serving ethnically and racially diverse populations, and those serving individuals with disabilities. Dr. Suarez-Balcazar  also reviewed challenges and benefits gained from cultivating and maintaining partnerships with diverse communities.
