Join us for  the first-ever conference on literacy for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The Next Chapter Book Club and Beyond.  The purpose of this conference is to share insights, experiences, and strategies on literacy and lifelong learning for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Next Chapter Book Club

The Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) was founded in 2002 to provide adolescents and adults with IDD - regardless of reading ability - the chance to be members of a book club.  NCBC offers weekly opportunities for people with IDD to read and learn together and make friends in a relaxed, community setting.  Expanding from two book clubs in Columbus, OH to over 225 clubs across North America and Europe, NCBC has become the preeminent program of its kind.
