The National Institute on Intellectual Disability and Community in Norway, NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology, UiO - University of Oslo Faculty of Law in Norway and NDCPD - Minot State University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in the USA wish to invite you to the "Inherent Dignity, Equality, and Rights" 2013 Conferences, focusing on intellectual and developmental disabilities.The first conference takes place in June 18 in Oslo, Norway, under the title, "Human Rights and Rule of Law." The second conference takes place in June 20 in Trondheim, Norway, under the title, "Living Conditions and Quality of Life."

The conference brings together researchers, policy makers, activists and practitioners to share scholarship and ideas, and provides a forum for Nordic and international collaboration in intellectual disability studies. Keynote speakers at the two conferences are Ruth Luckasson (confirmed), Michael Wehmayer (confirmed), Oliver Lewis (confirmed), Julie Beadle-Brown (confirmed), Jan Tøssebro (confirmed) and Amy Hewitt (confirmed).
