This webinar will focus on translational research, highlighting a recently completed Research Topic of Interest (RTOI) project that used parents of children with developmental disabilities as "detailers" (i.e., delivered information to primary care providers) for the "Learn the Signs. Act Early." campaign. The pilot project addressed the effectiveness of parents as detailers to increase primary care provider screening and referrals for early intervention and the potential of the model for other states. The RTOI team will share lessons learned and recommendations that researchers, clinicians, LEND trainees, and others can incorporate into their future work. There will be time for discussion and questions throughout the webinar. We hope you will be able to join us!
