The Executive Leadership Program in Global Health will provide leading edge applications that midlevel and senior program managers and policy makers need in the 21st century for constructing and maintaining successful programs and projects. Participants will work side-by-side with a multinational and interdisciplinary team and be part of ex-periential and action-learning sessions that are led by global health leaders. Sessions will utilize the latest re-search findings and best practices for advocating, developing, implementing, and monitoring public health policies and programs. This program is unique in its approach and based on a learning model which allows participants to attend seminars, discussions, workgroups, one-on-one and group consultations.

At the conclusion of the program, participants will have:

  • A strategic plan for assuring the quality of their existing or proposed programs, based on internationally accepted quality improvement frameworks.
  • A plan for scaling up existing or proposed evidence-based programs through advocacy, grant support, inter-agency collaboration, and other approaches.
  • Action plans for increasing the sustainability of existing planned programs.
  • An action plan to leverage online resources for the creation of innovative online courses.
  • A responsive network of academic-practice global health leaders engaged in innovations in program quality assurance.
