This special call is designed to help advocates and the public understand the statute that created this new office, where CMS is in its design and development phase, and learn about our long-term vision for this important new component of CMS.
Call participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and provide comments and ideas regarding this new office. Input from this call will aid CMS in establishing this new office, including:
- What assistance is needed to better integrate and improve care for dual eligible beneficiaries?
- What are the challenges to dual eligible beneficiaries receiving high quality integrated/coordinated acute and long-term care?
- What initiatives have been successful in integrating care for dual eligible beneficiaries to date?
- What models should be considered in the future?
