Insight Policy Research and AUCD conducted a webinar on Tuesday, June 29th. This webinar described and demonstrated the NIRS "2010 CAAI Module."

Insight is conducting the CAAI evaluation under an agreement with MCHB. The evaluation uses a number of data gathering strategies, one of which is a brief quantitative collection through NIRS via the CAAI Module. The module will open on Thursday, July 1, 2010 and deadline for submitting your data through NIRS will be Saturday, July 31, 2010.

The archive of the webinar will be saved until July 31.

CAAI Evaluation in NIRS Module

 

Accessing the CAAI Module Tab

We've received a number of questions from folks wondering why they cannot see the CAAI Module tab when they log in to NIRS. The likely answer is that your NIRS permissions are not set to allow you to see the module. 

To change your permissions, have your Data Coordinator (or anyone with the highest level NIRS permission):

1.       Log in to NIRS

2.       Under the "Admin Tab", select "user logins" (screenshot 1 below)

3.       "Edit" the appropriate user

4.       Ensure the "Module" datasets checkbox is checked (screenshot 2 below)

You should now see the "modules" tab appear across the top of your NIRS screen and be able to access your 2010 Module.  If this doesn't remedy the problem, contact AUCD for further assistance.
