The Conference Will Provide Participants With:
- The opportunity to explore and further define the rights of parents with intellectual disability in a variety of arenas, (education , health, justice, and social services).
- To work on ensuring that National, State, and Local policies reflect the rights and needs of parents with ID and their families.
- Explore with self-advocates (parents with ID) the joys and challenges of parenting their children.
