Direct Support Professionals Conference

Delaware's third annual conference for Direct Support Professionals, "Feeling good about yourself and your work," will be held May 1, 2008 in Dover, Delaware. This conference is designed to promote the valued role Direct Support Professionals play in supporting people with disabilities and to provide networking opportunities and skill development. Participants will attend workshops and hear a keynote address by Dr. Timothy Quinn, Executive Director of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region in Maryland. Five Direct Support Professionals in Delaware will be honored for their outstanding service. The conference is coordinated by the University of Delaware Center for Disabilities Studies.
