Katie anchors her work in the experiences and relationships she has with people with disabilities. In her current role at IDHD, Katie provides education, training, and resources on various topics which include self-directed supports, direct support workforce development, supporting healthy relationships and sexuality, and the sibling experience. Katie is also the Executive Director of the national Sibling Leadership Network. She has served on numerous boards including The Arc of Illinois, Council on Quality and Leadership, and State of the State in Developmental Disabilities advisory committee.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AWanda Felty is mother of three daughters. Her middle daughter, Kayla, has a developmental disability and complex medical condition. Kayla graduated from Noble High School in 2010. Wanda is the Leadership and Advocacy Coordinator for the Center for Learning and Leadership (Oklahoma's UCEDD) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, College of Medicine and Family Faculty for the Oklahoma LEND Program. She coordinates the quarterly Developmental Disabilities Services Waiting List Meetings, helping families connect with state agency administrators and legislators. She serves on the Oklahoma Commission for Children and Youth, the Developmental Disabilities Services' Policy Advisory Committee, the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council and on the Member Advisory Task Force (Co-Chair) and Medical Advisory Committee of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AElizabeth Hecht is Senior Outreach Specialist at the Waisman Center's Children with Special Health Care Needs Program. Liz has been a tireless worker on behalf of Wisconsin children with disabilities and their families. Her strong interest in public policy ensures that the voices of our families are always at the table, whether at cross-disability coalitions, departmental workgroups, ad hoc committees, legislative hearings, or Governor-appointed councils. As the statewide co-director of Wisconsin Family Voices and the coordinator of the Southern Regional Children with Special Health Care Needs Center, Liz is committed to ensuring that all children with disabilities, regardless of their diagnostic label, have access to services based on their individual needs. She is passionate in her belief that children thrive best when families are supported in their homes and communities. She is committed to the principles of family-centered care and community inclusion of all people with disabilities. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AAngela Martin is a Community Support Specialist with the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has a Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne State University with a concentration in Community Practice and Social Action. Angela has experience in resource development, curriculum design, and training programs on Self-Determination, Person Centered Planning, Family Support, and Leadership/Self-Advocacy. She has managed several DDI projects centered on individual and family empowerment and the quality of services and supports for individuals with disabilities.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AVyonda Martin is Associate Director and Community Services Director for the Center for Learning and Leadership, Oklahoma's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She has over 40 years of experience in the area of developmental disabilities. She began her career as a Special Education teacher and later administered Family Support programs and provided training to adoption specialists. Her current position involves developing and implementing federal and state grant projects in the areas of family support, person centered practices, self-direction, and health care. =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0APlease Note: There is NO cost for this webinar.
