Act Early Regional Summit

During February and March of 2008, AUCD hosted two Act Early Regional Summits in Region VI (states - NM, TX, OK, LA, AR) and Region VII (states - KS, MS, NE, IA) to bring together key state leaders from the early intervention and early childhood communities for the purpose of enhancing relationships and collaborations among these key stakeholders and providing a forum to share information and insights on the opportunities, challenges, and barriers for families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related developmental disabilities in the identification, assessment, diagnosis and intervention areas. UCEDDs and LENDs in the nine states coordinated and convened state teams from stakeholders in the healthcare, education, and social service sectors. The materials and products developed from the Summit are now archived on the AUCD website. Learn more about the Act Early Regional Summit Initiative.
