AUCD staff is happy to answer any questions you have about the Training Toolbox and its contents. Please email Sarah DeMaio with questions.

Q: What is the Training Toolbox? 
A: The Training Toolbox is a way for training program faculty and staff to browse, save, and share innovative training strategies on a variety of topics relevant to leadership in Maternal Child Health.  It was developed by AUCD under a collaborative agreement with HRSA's Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).

Q: Who should use the Training Toolbox? 
A: Directors, Faculty, and Staff from any MCHB-funded leadership training program are encouraged to use the Training Toolbox.  Many of the topics such as Maternal Child Health, Leadership, and Family Centered Care are applicable to all trainees / students / fellows.

Q: How do I create a My Favorites account?
A: Select the yellow "Favorites" button on the top right of the page or the "My Favorites" text in the left navigation to access the My Favorites page.  Here you have the option to create a new account or sign in.  To create an account, simply provide your e-mail address in the "create an account" space; no password is necessary.

Q: How do I sign in to My Favorites? 
A: Select the yellow "Favorites" button on the top right of the page or the "My Favorites" text in the left navigation to access the My Favorites page.  Here you have the option to create a new account or sign in.  To sign in to an existing account, enter your e-mail in the "sign in" space; no password is necessary.  After signing in, you will see the top right hand corner of the page display a personal welcome message and show you how many strategies are in your favorites.

Q: How do I add a Favorite to my account?
A: While looking at a specific strategy strategy, use the "add to Favorites" button underneath the contact information to add this strategy to your Favorites.  If you are not currently signed in, you will be directed to the sign up / sign in page.

Q: How do I remove a strategy from My Favorites?
A: Log in, select the strategy, and use the "Remove from Favorites" button to remove it from your list of favorite strategies.

Q: How do I submit a strategy?
A: From the Training Toolbox homepage, use the yellow "Submit a Strategy" button to access the submission form.  You can also access the submission form from any page using the left-hand navigation bar.

Q: I have a strategy to share that doesn't seem to fit in one of the current topics. Should I submit it? How do I suggest a new topic? 
A: Yes!  As training programs evolve, we fully anticipate new topics being added.  Send an e-mail to Shannon Haworth that includes the proposed topic as well as all the information for the strategy you'd like to submit.  We will review your suggestion, save it, and create a new topic when there are enough related strategies to do so.

Q: What are the "most popular strategies?"
A: The Training Toolbox keeps track of how many times each strategy is added to someone's "My Favorites" account.  The strategies with the most saves are the most popular.

Q: How do I share a strategy with someone else?
A: While browsing a strategy, use the "e-mail" button underneath the contact information to send this strategy to a colleague. 

Q: How do I add notes to one of My Favorite strategies?
A: While browsing a strategy, select "Add to Favorites." The next window is a text box for you to enter information about why you found this strategy particularly innovative or inspiring.  These notes will be available only to you when you revisit this strategy in the future.

Q: How do I delete a note from one of My Favorite strategies?
A: Log in, find the strategy, and use the "delete" button to remove the note.  Remember that this will only remove the note, not the strategy.  To delete the strategy from your Favorites, use the "Remove from Favorites" button.
