Expertise in health care consumerism, the disability rights movement and person-centered medicine. - The ramifications of policy ideas about the relationship between knowledge and practice in medicine and health care. Expertise in history and philosophy of evidence-based medicine and related policies, including practice guidelines, pay-for-performance, and value-based purchasing. -Policy scholarship as the assessment of claims made for prevailing health care ideas and practices.
