The University of Iowa is one of the first Research I institutes to establish a post-secondary, two year certificate program in the United States. Ms. Mendenhall has almost 25 years of experience in assisting individuals with disabilities in supported employment and accessing community resources. She owned and operated a private company providing supported employment services in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area and was a peer consultant for a national accrediting body for rehabilitation programs prior to her position at The University of Iowa. She has served as a member of the Community Provider Committee for Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services. | ||||||||||||||||
