Vita/Bio

Gordon serves as Consumer Liaison for the CPD at 80% time. As Consumer Liaison: Gordon's responsibilities include improving the relationships between projects, programs, and personnel at the CPD, persons with disabilities, and organizations that serve people with disabilities. Gordon provides staff support for the CPD Consumer Advisory Council. Gordon also is an active member of the AUCD and the Council on Community Advocacy (COCA) representing the CPD. He is also involved with several local and statewide organizations within the disability community: Board President for OPTIONS forIndependence, Board member of Neighborhood Non-profit Housing Corporation, Advisory Board member of AgrAbility of Utah, Advisory Council member and Chair of the Utah Disability Determination Services Council, Board member of URSTA, Utah Rural Transportation Association, Utah Assistive Technology Advisory Council member, Co-Chair of BRAG Mobility Management Council, Bear River Association of Governments.

Gordon is a graduate of USU with a B.S. degree in Ag-Business. Gordon enjoys people, gardening, and enhancing the quality of life for persons with disabilities by advocating for system change within the environment as a whole.
