Vita/Bio

Heidi von Ravensberg, JD, MBA is the Co-Coordinator of the Disability Studies Initiative at the University of Oregon, Adjunct Instructor of the Disability Law seminar at the School of Law and Research Associate on the law of behavior and discipline for the Educational and Community Supports research unit.

Dr. von Ravensberg is coordinating, along with Dr. Deborah Olson,  the establishment of a degree program in Disability Studies at the University of Oregon. She also helped create and teaches the Disability Law seminar which is a combined course for law and doctoral level education students. Dr. von Ravensberg has also monitored, reported on and written on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act regarding behavioral and discipline for the Educational and Community Supports research unit.
