A comparison of states' utilization of large residential settings for persons with mental retardation. Mental Retardation, 34(5), 303-311 (Rotholz, & Massey,1996). 5. Functionality of two modes of communication in the community by students with developmental disabilities: A comparison of signing and communication books. Current Grants and contracts: approximately 4,000,000 in federal and state funding.   One example of past grant: Moseley, C., Rotholz, D.A., & Lakin, K.C. (2005 - 2007). Assessment of Validity and Reliability of Multi-Tiered, Coordinated Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Programs Statewide for SC DDSN. Total award = $300,000, CDR award = $164,688.
