  • Responsible for overseeing the delivery of all Leadership-Development Training Programs designed for individuals with disabilities, family members with young children with disabilities, and university students.
  • Responsible for developing and ensuring the provision of individualized supports to Policy makers with intellectual disabilities on statewide boards and committees through the

Supported Leadership Facilitation Initiative.

  • Manage the ongoing development and operation of the Academy for Adult Learning, providing individuals with intellectual disabilities the experience of participating in the academic and social community at Temple University.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance to the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Retardation in areas of person-centered planning, supports coordination and provider qualifications.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance and training in all aspects of quality management to the Philadelphia Office of Mental Retardation Services and their contracted provider agencies.

  • Responsible for reinstating and overseeing the implementation of the Mini Course Series, training events designed to provide information on emerging promising practices and topics of interest surrounding individuals with disabilities.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the Physician Education Project, a training seminar taught solely by individuals with disabilities to all Temple Medical School interns rotating through the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.
  • Responsible for the coordination of a National Quality Assurance Study on Intermediate Care Facilities for people with mental retardation (ICFs/MR), including a baseline study of Psychoactive medication use by individuals living in ICFs /MR.
