Vita/Bio

Kimberly conducts and manages projects related to disability, employment and public health.  She is currently a doctoral candidate in psychology. 

Projects

New Hampshire Disaiblity & Public Health Project (DPH) aims to promote and maximize health, prevent chronic disease, and improve emergency preparedness in order to increase the quality of life among people with disabilities.

Employment Policy and Measurement Rehabilitation Research and Training Center investigates the impact of federal and state policies and programs on employment, paying particular attention to the effects of program interactions; examines new ways of measuring employment outcomes; and facilities the translation of reserach findings to guide policymaking and program administration. 

Kessler National Employment Survey generates outcomes to inform research and advocacy efforts to develop innovative and sustainable approaches (for individuals, families, service providers, and employers) to maximize the employment opportunities of people with disabiltities. 

Health Disparities & Intellectual Disabilities informs efforts to a) improve the capacity of current health surveillance systems to track the health and healthcare of people with intellectual disabilites, and b) increase the effectiveness of health-related practices, services, and programs that influence the lives of people with intellectual disabilties.
