EXTERNALLY FUNDED PROJECTS
Coordinated the activities of a state-funded grant (Texas Education Agency) since 2003 ($850,000 over the past three years). The "Career and Technical Education Special Populations Training and Resource Education Center" (CTSP Center) provides access to career and technology (CTE) and special education-related multimedia information (books, curriculum materials, videos, online courses) to teachers, parents and education professionals throughout Texas and nationally.
PUBLICATIONS AND DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES
Co-authored five peer-reviewed research papers, 7 newsletters, four grant reports and co-created eight online professional development modules for Career and Technical Education teachers. All publications are centered on addressing the needs of special populations within the educational context.
