Summary focus areas for research include: dynamic systems theory, facilitated communication, universal design for learning, positive behavior support, employment supports for individuals with autism, best practices in autism education.

Conducting on-going research for the Maine Department of Education on the perception of teachers, paraprofessionals, family members, and individuals with autism on the educational needs of students with autism in Maine. Reviewing the literature on best practices in autism education and employment supports for individuals with autism.
