Vita/Bio

Dr. Horner-Johnson is an Associate Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Her research is based in OHSU's Institute on Development & Disability.

Dr. Horner-Johnson's primary research interests include: disability-related health disparities and barriers to health care; appropriate measurement of health-related quality of life among adults with disabilities; and evaluation of health promotion programs for people with disabilities. Additional interests include attitudes toward people with disabilities and prevention of maltreatment.

She is an active member of the Disability Section of the American Public Health Association and a co-founder of the Oregon Public Health Association's Disability Section.
