Member of Utah Autism team for 2 years learning about treatments for autism and helping children in the school setting. Worked for 2 years in Early Intervention supervising services to 250 families and helping develop a treatment program for young children with autism.

Vita/Bio

EDUCATION: BS in special education with a severe/profound endorsement from BYU and a master's degree in Family, Consumer and Human Development from USU. I studied American Sign Language for 2 years in college.

EXPERIENCE: I am currently the assistant director/program coordinator for the Up to 3 Early Intervention Program at Utah State University. I taught special education for 2 years in an elementary setting and for 9 years in a high school/post high school setting. I worked with students who had a variety of disabilities helping them focus on vocational training, life skills, and preparing for life after high school.

PHILOSOPHY: I am intrigued with the process people use to learn and I am inspired by people's resiliency and accomplishments.
