Vita/Bio

Whitney Emerson received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Rehabilitation Science from Arkansas Tech University in August 2006. She obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Rehabilitation from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in August of 2010.  Whitney is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arkansas and holds a specialization in Rehabilitation. In addition, Whitney is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Positive Behavior Support Specialist, and was certified as a START Coordinator in June of 2012. Whitney is the Director of the ArkSTART Program through Partners for Inclusive Communities, which is a Statewide Initiative that provides systemic consultation and crisis prevention/ intervention services for individuals dually diagnosed (MI and I/DD) in Arkansas.
