Speech-Language Pathologist
• Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for pediatric population through an interdisciplinary team approach.
• Serve children and their families with a variety of neurodevelopmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide education related to speech-language issues to students, fellows, and professionals participating in the LEND/UCEDD training program.
• Collaborate with various disciplines including Psychology, Social Work, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Developmental Pediatrics, and Audiology in weekly interdisciplinary staffing.
• Compose comprehensive diagnostic reports consisting of parent report, informal observation, assessment results, diagnosis, and recommendations.
• Supervise the training of students and mentoring of clinical fellows pursuing a career in speech-language pathology.
• Provide consultation to various populations, including adults and adolescents diagnosed with Down's Syndrome and children previously admitted to neo-natal intensive care unit.
