Ms. Rivera coordinates projects to provide culturally appropriate services to California's Latino and Spanish speaking communities. Ms. Rivera, a retired teacher,  previously provided early intervention services to Latino families in Sacramento county. As the Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Rivera is the link between the Latino and Spanish-speaking community and CEDD. In this role, she relates the needs of the Spanish-speaking community to agencies and organizations, disseminates resources and support through various means to families, supports and advocates for Spanish-speaking families and provides trainings in Spanish.  Her responsibilities include updating the Spanish language website resources.
