Vita/Bio
Dr. Harneet Grewal is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. She was born in India where she graduated from dental school. She pursued further education in the United States receiving her dental degree at the University of California, San Francisco and her pediatric dentistry specialty training at Tufts University, Boston. She served as a full time faculty and then the Associate Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Program at the NYU-Lutheran site in Holyoke, Western Massachusetts before moving to Michigan.
Dr. Grewal is a board certified pediatric dentist and is involved in teaching in the undergraduate and graduate Pediatric Dental Clinics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She also oversees the Pediatric Dentistry Service at Mott Children's Hospital. She directs the Special Health Care Needs graduate level course and serves on various committees at the U-M Mott Children's Hospital.
Her areas of interest include care of children with special health care needs and interprofessional education. She is also a part of the Interprofessional Leadership Fellows Program offered by the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT) at the University of Michigan.
