Vita/Bio

Naw "Esther" Doh is the Community Health & Refugee Outreach/Internship coordinator at VT LEND program. Esther is responsible for developing and coordinating effective community outreach to culturally and linguistically diverse populations and managing internship placements for trainees and fellows.

Esther has strong ties to the Burmese/Karen communities in our area and brings a diverse perspective to VT LEND. She is a member and participant of the Health Disparities and Cultural Competence Advisory Group. In this role, she brings a trusting perspective to the Burmese community that has led to advancing health-disparities projects, including a Frymoyer grant documentary in partnership with the UVM Medical Center's New American clinic.
