Research: | Research interests include outcomes related to hemophilic arthropathy in children and adults with hemophilia.
Dr. Lane is currently involved in several projects investigating outcomes in children and adults with hemophilia utilizing the Universal Data Collection (UDC) Surveillance project. The UDC is a collaboration of 130 federally funded hemophilia treatment centers across the United States and the Center for Disease Control. |
Vita/Bio
Dr. Lane is a licensed physical therapist, board certified as a Pediatric specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah. She is also Core Faculty with the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neuro-developmental Disabilities (URLEND) grant, a Maternal and Child Health Care Bureau training grant. Dr. Lane has over 17 years of experience as a clinician working with children and families with special healthcare needs in a variety of settings.
Currently, her clinical practice is in the department of Hematology/Oncology at Primary Children's Medical Center. Dr. Lane is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Hemophilia Foundation, and in 2008, received the National Hemophilia Foundation: Physical Therapy Excellence Fellowship in Hemophilia as well as the National Hemophilia Foundation: Physical Therapist of the Year award.
