Meeting
The
American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine
(AACPDM) is delighted to announce that the 62nd Annual Meeting will be held in
Atlanta, Georgia, USA from September 17 - 20, 2008.

The AACPDM
Scientific Program Committee is now accepting abstracts for consideration for
presentation at the 62nd Annual Meeting. Presentations may address any aspect of
developmental and physical disability, child development, cerebral palsy and
related neurological, muscular and skeletal disorders. You are invited to submit
an abstract to one or more of the following categories:
1. Scientific Free Papers and Poster
Presentations: You may designate your scientific abstracts for podium
or poster presentation, or allow the Program Committee to make the decision.
Students, residents and fellows are encouraged to submit abstracts for
consideration under the new category for Student Scientific Poster. All accepted
abstracts will be published.
2.
Demonstration Posters: The abstracts in this category provide an
opportunity to present new ideas, instruments (diagnostic and outcome tools),
techniques and technologies, pilot work, interesting service delivery models,
and other areas pertaining to the care of children with developmental
disabilities. These abstracts will not be published.
3. Instructional Courses: These abstracts
are focused educational courses, which may be didactic and or interactive,
presented by one or more individuals or groups over a two-hour
period.
4. Multimedia
Presentations: Audio/Visual presentations of up to 60 minutes may be
made on CD-ROMS and/or DVD's. Selected submissions will be previewed at the 2008
meeting. Audio/Visual presentations cannot be submitted on-line. Please send
Audio/Visual abstracts to the AACPDM Office. Forms for multimedia submissions
are available on the AACPDM website.
NOTES:

- The deadline for all
submissions is January 31, 2008.
- The selected abstracts will be
announced by the Scientific Program Committee in April
2008.
