Narrative of Current Research Efforts:
The primary interests of the Kornblum laboratory are:
  1. Molecular Genetics of Neural stem cells
  2. Cell biology of Neural stem cells-survival, proliferation and differentiation
  3. Identity and plasticity of neural stem cells
  4. Repair of injury using Neural Stem Cell Transplantation
  5. Relationship between neural stem cells and brain tumors
  6. Identification of small molecules that influence neural stem cell differentiation
