The article should cover your expectations for the Conference, events attended, what you enjoyed, and lessons learned. The article and photos or excerpts form it may be used in newsletters, Conference summaries, or other venues as deemed appropriate by AUCD.
- Get Creative. Trainees should conceptualize an individualized project that incorporates their interests and talents while summarizing or reflecting on their experience at the AUCD Conference. This project must be submitted to and approved by AUCD before the start of the Conference. Examples of projects might include a photo collage, brief Conference video, Prezi, or other tool that showcases the AUCD Conference and relays information about the events and activities to those not at the Conference. Projects may be posted online or used by AUCD as appropriate.
- After submitting their summary project, trainees awarded the travel scholarships must submit a proper reimbursement form and relevant receipts to AUCD detailing their reimburseable travel costs. The form must be sent to Rebecca Carman at AUCD not later than 30 days after the end of the Conference. All applicable receipts (please keep a copy of the receipts for your records) must be included. AUCD will then reimburse allowable travel expenses to the trainees awarded scholarships for this year.
