The Washington Hilton is sold out of rooms on some of the nights of our conference. If you have tried to reserve a room through the Hilton and are unsuccessful, please contact the hotels listed below to check availability. These are both within a block or two of the conference hotel. Note that AUCD does not have negotiated rates at these other hotels.

Online Reservations - FULL

To make a reservation online, go to the dedicated AUCD Hilton reservations webpage and select the Book a Room button. Follow the prompts to enter your arrival and departure dates and your room preference. (You do not need to put anything in the Special Accounts section.) Select Continue and your room preference with the $219 rate should appear. Follow the additional prompts to complete your reservation.

Phone Reservations - FULL

To make a reservation by phone, call 1-800- HILTONS, specify the Washington Hilton hotel and the AUCD Conference to get the negotiated rate of $219/night.

ADA Reservations

When reserving an accessible room or making any accessible accommodation requests, it is strongly recommended to follow up with the hotel via phone to ensure that your request was entered correctly in their system. The Washington Hilton has 33 ADA rooms, 16 of those with roll-in showers (see details below) but not all of these rooms are in AUCD's room block. Accessible Guest Rooms

There are 33 accessible guest rooms (kings and doubles) at the Washington Hilton. Standard accessible features include lowered peepholes in guestroom doors, lowered wall-mounted thermostats, lowered closet rods, flashing fire alarms for the hearing impaired, accessible commodes and sinks, lowered towel bars, grab bars surrounding all toilets, roll-in showers or bathtubs. Roll-in showers have hand-held shower sprayers with extensions and shower benches.

Other features available upon request are telephones with amplified headset, door knock light and vibrating alarm clock.
