Existing diabetes self-management programs are often not designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We will describe an approach to identifying barriers to successful diabetes self-management through providers', individuals with disabilities' and caregivers' eyes and design a more effective self-management curriculum appropriate for individuals with intellectual disabilities.Back to Session: Welcome Reception and Posters
