Description

This poster describes the efforts of a provider and a parent to lift the voices of family members of disabled children in the clinical setting. It includes strategies providers and family members can use to maximize the family-provider relationship, a list of empowering questions, and ways to improve family members' and providers' abilities to work together to set relevant, family-centered, realistic and achievable goals for a child.
