The Michigan Habilitation Supports Waiver provides Home and Community (HCBS) supports to ~7,800 Medicaid beneficiaries with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The Michigan Developmental Disabilities Institute (UCEDD) at Wayne State University collaborated with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services surveying individuals (4,857) receiving supports and their providers (3,682 residential; 2,817 non-residential) assessing compliance with the HCBS rule.
