Description
Adult siblings of people with intellectual disabilities (ID) often play a key role in supporting the decisions of their brothers or sisters. However, little is known about what these adults siblings know and think about guardianship and its alternatives. This qualitative research study explored these siblings? knowledge and perspectives about guardianship and its alternatives. Implications about ways to support adult siblings and people with ID will also be reported.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Advocacy & Self-determination
