Description

A self-advocate and two researchers will present a poster on the processes used by self-advocates and researchers who partnered closely for the past three years with members of disability rights and violence prevention communities to conduct the first randomized, controlled trial of a violence prevention group program for people with ID (N=184). Presenters will share qualitative data provided by participants and group facilitators following their participation in the intervention.
