Description
Utilizing Community Partnered Participatory Research (CPPR) techniques, this poster will discuss the challenges that Black mothers of children with autism face during diagnosis, early intervention, and in critical transitions during school. This poster will discuss the specific themes extracted and make suggestions for systems change interventions that could ameliorate the process and bridge the gaps to help Black families become effective advocates for their children.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Advocacy
