Description
Children with special needs in China are cared for mostly in Government run or non-profit organizations because parents do not have sufficient training or support. This presentation will discuss the background and need in China and one LEND trainee's plan to effect change in her home country with interactive discussion a plan for implementing parent education, increasing professional capacity and building social support and disability awareness.Back to Session: Welcome Reception and Evening Poster Session
