Description

Learn about an effective partnership between a UCEDD and a local health department in Montana. The two organizations worked together to conduct BMI screenings of students with and without disabilities in Missoula County and evaluate the collected data. Through this collaboration the health department and UCEDD were able to learn more about how to conduct BMI screenings and the prevalence of obesity and overweight among children in special education.
