Description

People with intellectual disabilities face numerous challenges to experiencing healthy and safe intimate relationships. Challenges include lack of access to education and information pertaining to sexual health and relationships, epidemic rates of interpersonal violence, low rates of seeking help to escape abusive situations, and beliefs that sexual relationships are inappropriate for people with disabilities. This presentation will share two tools aimed to promote safe and healthy relationships.
