Description

The IL UCEDD Sexuality and Disability Consortium sponsored a community research forum for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the purpose of defining sexual self-advocacy. This qualitative research project was a collaborative effort with people with I/DD. Policy and practice implications to promote sexual self advocacy will be discussed. This research positioned self advocates in the primary role directing the discussion about their sexual lives.
